Vintage Advertising on the Road

Posted: January 26, 2014 in Ghost Towns

One of my favorite aspects of ghost town photography is the opportunity to see all of the vintage advertising.  Fading away on the walls of the crumbling buildings, like the memories and the populations of these vanishing towns, are the remnants of yesterday’s products and services.  Unlike today’s bland and boring advertising, the marketing of old were works of art in their own right.
